Overview

A global technology leader in fire and life safety solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial accounting activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP, focusing on headquarters operations. The organization provides advanced solutions and services worldwide to protect people and property from fire and related hazards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze accounting activities adhering to U.S. GAAP to control financial resources and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and review general ledger and project accounting procedures.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and control processes.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments.
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure process compliance.
  • Lead small-scale projects.
  • Manage the CoStar lease database, including lease administration tasks related to equipment leases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Preferred qualifications: Technical accounting experience, Master’s degree or MBA, CPA or CMA certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management system is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $87,975 - $103,500 per year.
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus based on individual and company performance.
  • Final compensation determined by knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to the role.
