Overview
Senior Accountant I position available, supporting accounting operations across global entities. This remote role requires working within Pacific Time zone hours and involves full-cycle accounting close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead advanced month-end close activities including capitalization of internally used software, complex allocations, debt, accruals, subsidiary financial reviews, and consolidation.
- Identify and research accounting issues ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
- Prepare and post elimination and consolidation journal entries; perform intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
- Manage subsidiary entity accounting book period close per US GAAP and coordinate local statutory filings.
- Conduct detailed general ledger account analysis, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and provide variance explanations for P&L and balance sheet accounts.
- Handle gross margin related month-end activities such as accruals, revenue recognition, and reporting.
- Manage or support cash management activities including bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and intercompany settlements.
- Own or assist with ad hoc projects related to financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
- Support audit and management reporting with accurate and timely deliverables.
- Participate in cross-team training and coverage planning to ensure backup and knowledge sharing.
- Occasionally assist other functions such as Billing or Accounts Payable as business needs arise.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate recurring tasks, and improve accuracy and scalability of accounting processes using AI and automation.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of public accounting (audit) experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of corporate accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting close.
- Proven ability to independently identify issues and implement solutions across accounts and systems.
- Strong ownership and accountability; able to adapt to changing priorities and work extended hours during critical deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to investigate variances and explain financial movements clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience handling large data sets.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $100,000 - $120,000
- Bonus: 15% of base salary
- On-target earnings (OTE): $115,000 - $138,000
- Salary range may vary based on candidate location.

Location
Remote within the United States, must overlap Pacific Time zone hours.
