Overview
A client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join on a contractor basis. This remote role involves applying accounting and financial reporting expertise to support the training of next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input. The position offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to cutting-edge AI model development.
Responsibilities
- Analyze real-world ledgers, reconciliations, close packages, and financial statements to extract actionable insights and structured context.
- Identify and trace discrepancies, accruals, and reporting decisions within fragmented, real-world information.
- Develop realistic and challenging tasks based on accounting and financial reporting knowledge to evaluate AI agents.
- Create clear, detailed prompts and evaluation rubrics grounded in provided materials and scenarios.
- Differentiate relevant from irrelevant information to ensure high-quality contributions to AI model development.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in accounting and financial reporting with hands-on experience managing these functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex information into clear, concise prompts.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience in AI model development, training, or evaluation is not required.
- Proficiency with AI platforms, tools, or systems is a plus.
