An established CPA firm with over 20 years of industry experience is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role involves working closely with team members in a collaborative environment that values work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Organize and manage client assignments and projects
- Coach, advise, and direct team members to meet client and firm expectations
- Ensure business transactions comply with generally accepted accounting principles
- Assist with year-end planning and reconciliations
- Prepare corporate, partnership, trust/estate, and individual tax returns
- Support the annual audit process, including drafting financial statements and related footnotes
- Research accounting and tax issues
- Potential opportunity to join the quality control management team
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Ability to lead all aspects of engagements from planning through completion
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with professionals at all levels
- High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
