Senior Accountant

Overview

A Senior Accountant position is available within the accounting team responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making and external compliance. This role focuses on revenue accounting and analysis for business-to-consumer (B2C) customers across multiple entities. The Senior Accountant will also assist with financial reporting, compliance, audits, account reconciliations, technical accounting research, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Perform monthly B2C revenue calculations
• Prepare journal entries and conduct variance analysis during monthly and annual financial close processes
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial record integrity
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to address financial inquiries
• Support interim and year-end audits
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• Public accounting experience is required
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience; public accounting background is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or AS400
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings effectively
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to meeting internal and external deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance processes and drive innovation
