Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

This opportunity is with an employer in the e-commerce and healthy living products industry seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional. The role involves managing end-to-end accounts payable processes and supporting vendor relationships within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processing for three-way match invoices
• Ensure accuracy and timely processing of all AP transactions in compliance with company policies
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and proactively resolve discrepancies
• Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, maintaining strong professional relationships
• Identify and implement workflow improvements and process automation opportunities within accounts payable

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
• Proven ability to handle high-volume invoice processing in a fast-paced setting
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading process improvements or automation initiatives
• Analytical mindset with the ability to independently resolve discrepancies
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
