Overview
A Senior Analyst role in Commercial Finance is available to support the Media business unit. This position focuses on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and performance reporting. The role partners closely with Commercial sales leaders to provide data-driven insights and decision support.
Responsibilities
- Manage P&L through revenue and expense tracking, variance analysis, and reporting
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans
- Analyze business performance, identify key drivers, and deliver actionable insights
- Collaborate with Commercial leaders on pipeline reviews, pricing decisions, and revenue opportunities
- Prepare reporting packages, dashboards, and summaries highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
- Identify inefficiencies in reporting, forecasting, and data management to support process improvements
- Conduct root cause analysis on variances and assist in implementing corrective actions
- Track and report key operational metrics including revenue, expenses, and headcount
- Utilize financial systems such as CRM, Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, and Power BI to enhance reporting and insights
- Support business case development and post-analysis tracking for strategic initiatives
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Client Insights, and Finance teams
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis, or related finance functions
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with large datasets, financial modeling, and reporting
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and monthly business performance reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify key business drivers and communicate insights clearly
- High attention to detail and accuracy across multiple data sources
- Proficient in pulling, consolidating, and analyzing financial and operational data to support business decisions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to learn new business processes and systems
- Experience with planning and reporting tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, CRM platforms, or Power BI is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 - $95,000 USD (may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, and other factors)

- This is a 100% remote position
- Candidates must be willing to work Central Standard Time (CST) hours; Eastern Standard Time (EST) preferred
