Overview

A fast-growing private cloud company recognized on the 2025 Forbes Cloud 100 list is seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategy & Planning. This role serves as the operational counterpart to FP&A within Revenue Operations, focusing on headcount and expense management, compensation plan execution, forecast roll-ups, and analytical support to keep the go-to-market (GTM) organization on plan. Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Planning, this high-visibility individual contributor position partners closely with FP&A and across Revenue Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Program-manage the annual planning cycle across Sales and Finance: own the timeline, drive deliverables, coordinate stakeholders, and synthesize outputs into a unified plan.
  • Manage headcount and expense tracking for the GTM organization: monitor plan versus actuals, manage requisitions, and collaborate with hiring managers and recruiting on capacity.
  • Lead compensation plan modeling and execution: perform scenario modeling, document plans, handle exceptions, and work with the compensation administrator to ensure payout accuracy.
  • Build and maintain forecast roll-ups across regions and segments; partner with FP&A on variance analysis and corporate forecasting.
  • Support territory and quota deployment by producing analytical work underpinning the annual plan and mid-year adjustments.
  • Maintain the Strategy & Planning analytical layer, including dashboards, recurring reports, and data quality efforts.
  • Collaborate with FP&A on month-end close activities, commissions accruals, and revenue reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales finance, FP&A, strategic finance, or a similar analytical role; experience in SaaS or consumption-based business models preferred.
  • Owner-operator mindset: ability to own processes end-to-end, including building, running, fixing, and measuring outcomes.
  • Skilled in program-managing cross-functional processes, managing timelines, driving deliverables across Sales and Finance leadership, and synthesizing stakeholder input independently.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with driver-based modeling in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Proficiency in SQL is required; Python skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern analytics stacks such as ClickHouse, dbt, or comparable tools; comfortable working in code as well as spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles related to revenue, commissions, and expense flows.
  • Detail-oriented with a disciplined approach to operational rigor and controllership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating analytical work into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, compensation administration platforms (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Spiff), and business intelligence tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
