Overview

An established and expanding wealth management firm is seeking a Financial Planner to join its Advanced Wealth Planning Team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a growing and experienced financial planning team and reports to the Director and Head of Advanced Wealth Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present financial planning cases during calls for clients and prospects with assets ranging from $5 million to $15 million
  • Consult with clients to develop financial plans and wealth management strategies aligned with their financial and investment goals
  • Participate in calls with senior planners and attend debrief sessions to provide and receive constructive feedback, including role-play scenarios
  • Expand knowledge of financial planning tools and all related areas such as tax, estate, insurance, investments, and employee benefits
  • Meet regularly with clients to review updates to their financial and personal situations
  • Assist in developing content for webinars, weekly calls, and the Advanced Wealth Planning website
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to publish articles
  • Source business prospects and apply member acquisition techniques effectively
  • Assist in gathering data in preparation for upcoming planning meetings
  • Monitor and update client financial plans as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or actively pursuing CFP certification
  • Experience using eMoney financial planning software
  • Highly organized, technically proficient, and an enthusiastic, effective team player
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to self-start, take initiative, work collaboratively, and drive results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel
