Senior CDR, Accounting

Overview

This role supports Federal Plans Finance by managing daily claims disbursement, cash activity, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely claims funding. The position works closely with Claims Operations, Treasury, and Accounting teams and supports financial controls, audit activities, and claims-related reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deposit refund checks into the designated refund account and ensure proper tracking
• Complete daily Letter of Credit (LOC) and related monitoring activities
• Review and process Return to Claims Office (RCO) checks
• Process replacement check requests
• Process weekly prescription claims payments, ensuring accuracy and timely release
• Perform daily reconciliations between multiple claims and financial systems
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items and discrepancies
• Assist with interim and annual audits, including documentation support and responding to auditor inquiries
• Support compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Claims Operations, or a related field
• Experience with cash activity, reconciliations, and high-volume transaction processing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $18.50 - $38.82 per hour (base rate or annual full-time salary equivalent)
• Actual salary offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors

Work Schedule
