Overview
This role is for a Senior Corporate Accountant specializing in Revenue and Regulatory Reporting within the healthcare sector. It is ideal for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) with 2–4 busy seasons of public accounting experience seeking to transition into a specialized, analytical corporate position. The focus is on net revenue recognition, accounts receivable valuation, and regulatory compliance for hospitals and healthcare providers.
The position does not involve traditional accounting tasks such as month-end close, expense management, or general ledger entries. Instead, it emphasizes ensuring the accuracy of complex accounts receivable reserves and state supplemental funding balances, as well as managing Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting and audits.
This is a 100% remote or hybrid role based with a team in Nashville, with no billable hours required. No prior healthcare experience is necessary as training on healthcare-specific topics will be provided.
