Overview
This role is for a Senior Analyst within the Pharmacy Services Finance Business Intelligence, Automation, & Analytics organization. The position involves managing assigned project requests from intake through delivery support, partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges, documenting current-state processes, defining requirements, and ensuring work meets delivery readiness standards before development begins.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Research and document processes, connecting business and technical perspectives to enable automation development at scale.
- Create detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process/data flows, and user stories.
- Partner with IT, BI development, and Automation/Analytics teams to define requirements and ensure seamless integration with business workflows.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders to align business objectives with proposed solutions.
- Manage projects by coordinating people and processes to ensure timely delivery and desired outcomes.
- Develop Business Requirement Documents outlining project scope, objectives, and detailed plans.
- Lead stakeholders and internal resources through project milestones to successful product delivery.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks to project success or on-time completion.
- Stay informed on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends relevant to business analysis.
- Contribute ideas to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or related fields.
- Strong communication skills, able to convey ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- At least 1 year of project management experience managing projects impacting multiple teams or departments.
- Minimum 1 year of experience documenting complex business process flows for optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM, or pharmacy services.
- Prior experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with Agile Project Management tools such as Atlassian/Jira/Confluence.
- Ability to quickly learn new business processes and experience with process improvement methodologies like Lean Thinking and Six Sigma.
- Experience with project management tools such as QuickBase, Smartsheet, or Jira.
- Ability to work efficiently under ambiguous circumstances.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Typical pay range: $46,988.00 - $102,000.00 annually.
- Actual salary offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
- Eligible for bonus, commission, or short-term incentive programs in addition to base pay.

Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
