Senior Finance Operations Manager

This role is critical to ensuring accurate, compliant financial operations. The Senior Finance Operations Manager oversees billing, collections, sales tax compliance, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. The position also supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting to help inform leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, revenue, and deferred revenue reconciliations monthly
• Prepare and issue customer and partner billing and monitor collections
• Support month-end close through journal entries and coordination
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Oversee sales and use tax filings and maintain documentation
• Assist with annual budget and rolling forecast cycles
• Prepare and distribute monthly budget variance analyses
• Maintain and improve financial dashboards and reporting tools
• Build and update financial models for strategic decision-making
• Lead analysis of partisan electioneering spend for compliance
• Track grant expenses and prepare financial grant reports
• Support audit preparations and tax filing processes
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate payroll allocations
• Maintain data integrity across financial systems

Requirements

• Strong accounting fundamentals and experience in financial operations
• Proficiency in billing, collections, reconciliations, and compliance
• Experience with financial planning and analysis
• Ability to manage month-end close processes
• Skilled in maintaining financial systems and data integrity
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to exercise good judgment
