Overview
A Senior Financial Analyst role is available to support financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making for Business Technology and Security organizations. This position involves managing operating expenses and headcount financials, guiding investment decisions across infrastructure, enterprise systems, security, and internal AI tooling.
The role requires ownership of the financial narrative related to operating expenses and headcount, collaborating closely with leaders in Business Technology, Security, Product, Engineering, and Finance. The analyst will evaluate tradeoffs, improve cost visibility, and support scaling of new capabilities, especially in AI, while maintaining financial discipline.
Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential in this dynamic environment with evolving priorities and complex cost structures.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated FP&A partner for Business Technology and Security teams, managing financial planning for operating expenses and headcount.
- Lead financial planning cycles including annual planning, monthly forecasting, and budget management.
- Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate investments, tradeoffs, and resource allocation, providing financial guidance and decision support.
- Analyze operating expense and headcount performance, delivering variance analysis, insights, and recommendations to enhance visibility and forecast accuracy.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decisions.
- Support headcount planning and investment tracking to align with business priorities and financial goals.
- Partner with teams to manage financial planning and cost control of internal and enterprise AI tools, assessing usage, scalability, and ROI.
- Prepare management review materials that clearly communicate risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, reporting, and automation to support organizational scaling.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and organizational skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Interest and experience in AI and emerging technologies, including applying AI tools or supporting AI-enabled process improvements.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office for financial modeling, reporting, and presentations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Self-starter capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, and taking ownership of outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting technology-focused, SaaS, business systems, infrastructure, or security-related teams.
- Experience building financial models for complex operating environments, including cost allocations, shared services, and internal chargeback methodologies.
- Familiarity with financial systems and analytics tools such as Looker, NetSuite, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements or automation, including AI-driven efficiency enhancements.
- Ability to work Eastern or Central time zone hours to meet collaboration needs.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual cash compensation range: $110,900 to $166,400 USD.
- Compensation includes base salary, potential bonuses, and may include equity in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs) for eligible roles.
- Some roles may be eligible for overtime pay.

Location
- United States-based role.
- Remote-friendly with a preference for Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours, though not required.
