Overview

This role is for a Senior Financial Analyst to support day-to-day accounting and finance activities for the organization. The position reports directly to the Director of Finance and is full-time.

This role requires that applicants be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Salary Range: $80–90k

Location: Remote or Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities

  • Assist with consolidation and financial reporting across multiple entities
  • Support preparation and posting of journal entries (JEs)
  • Participate in month-end close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Maintain and update financial models and reporting templates
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across reporting systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Retail, Production, and other departments
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity
  • Coordinate with management to create financial models and forecasts
  • Prepare month-end reports, including actual vs. budgets and updated forecasts
  • Forecast, analyze, and summarize trends in sales, margin, and other KPIs
  • Create ad hoc reports, graphs, and charts based on financial data
  • Develop and update models to support forecast analysis under various business conditions
  • Create management presentations highlighting historical and projected financial and operational results

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or higher in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, critical thinking, presentation, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline, and detail-driven environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Experience communicating to executive levels is a plus
  • Experience with Business Central and Power BI preferred but not required
  • Financial analysis within the media or entertainment industry is preferred but not required

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation, including adequate vision and hearing
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds to move equipment on and off shelves
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and standard office equipment
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity using both hands
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally based on business needs
