Overview
A leading global in vitro diagnostics company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial leadership and support to the Global Supply Chain organization. This role focuses on the monthly close, forecasting, and variance analysis for the US Supply Chain Team, as well as consolidating results and preparing executive-level reporting packages for the Global Supply Chain.
This position is open to remote candidates residing on the East Coast of the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close process, including recording journal entries and accruals, ensuring month-end financials meet expectations
- Build and consolidate monthly reporting files covering freight, warehousing, headcount, scrap, savings, and other key supply chain KPIs
- Review actual monthly performance against budgets and provide variance commentary
- Support budget and forecasting cycles and analysis (AOP, 3+9, 6+6, 9+3)
- Serve as the primary finance partner to the US Supply Chain Team and support the Global Supply Chain team to standardize reporting, align commentary, and proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Enhance existing reporting tools and models to streamline reporting cycles and provide more insightful information to management
- Complete FP&A and Global Operations Finance requests and other ad-hoc activities
- Assist with process and continuous improvement initiatives for the US and Global Supply Chain Teams
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Familiarity with UK and US GAAP
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Highly motivated with strong analytical skills, including the ability to create complex financial models
- Intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, think creatively, recommend and implement process improvements, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
- University degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial and management accounting
- Must reside on the East Coast of the United States

Preferred Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
- Degree-level qualification, preferably in Accounting or Finance

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $89,008.92 to $115,711.59, bonus eligible
