Overview
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000
This role involves serving as a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A responsible for developing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data related to company performance. The position requires close collaboration with channel and departmental leaders to provide insights that drive informed decisions, improve revenue quality, control costs, and streamline processes. The ability to synthesize complex financial information into actionable recommendations and communicate effectively across functions is essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis and reporting of financial results and operational expenses to support executive decision-making.
- Act as the primary finance liaison to the IT data infrastructure team to ensure data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting; recommend corrective actions for data gaps or inaccuracies.
- Develop actionable dashboards to measure progress against company objectives.
- Build, maintain, monitor, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) related to company performance, including profitability and trends at the channel, category, and SKU levels.
- Support ROI analysis for major initiatives through proper data tagging, allocation, and aggregation.
- Collaborate with channel and departmental leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, revenue quality improvement, and cost optimization strategies.
- Lead projects aimed at enhancing productivity and cost-effectiveness across various channels and departments.
- Utilize data and automation tools to support rebate and commission programs as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with a strong academic record.
- Minimum of 5 years of finance experience, ideally in revenue analysis, expense management, or FP&A.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization software is essential.
- Strong preference for advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, VBA, and Power Pivot, for financial modeling and data analysis.
- Experience with financial software or systems is a plus; NetSuite experience is advantageous.
