Overview

This role involves supporting the Strategic Finance team responsible for financial forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and long-range planning. The Senior Financial Analyst will lead expense forecasting and strategic projects across multiple functions, collaborating closely with finance and business partners including senior executives. The position requires a driven finance professional with a proven track record of delivering results and the ability to act as a key strategic partner.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and cross-functional teams by providing financial decision-making support.
  • Develop and manage the budget and forecasting process, including headcount and non-labor expenses such as Bad Debt, VAT, Insurance, and special projects.
  • Analyze cloud infrastructure and technology costs, evaluate AI-related investments and business cases, and recommend ways to optimize spending, resource utilization, and operational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business leads, Finance, and Legal teams to set and execute strategic plans.
  • Prepare variance analyses, financial bridges, and presentations explaining trends and insights for leadership, board of directors, and external investors.
  • Perform month-end closing activities including accrual preparation and coordination with accounting.
  • Reconcile data from multiple sources and assist in automating reports and analyses.
  • Analyze and interpret data to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support ad-hoc finance projects to enable financially sound leadership decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in corporate finance, consulting, or financial services; experience in SaaS/Cloud industry is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, business intelligence tools (Tableau or PowerBI), planning, ERP, and reporting systems; experience with Workday Adaptive is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and consultative skills.
  • Inquisitive mindset with a growth-oriented approach to complex problems.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $81,800.00 - $143,800.00, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
