Overview
A leading organization in the Retail & Consumer Goods sector is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes. This role involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation, influencing enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a consumer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models for reporting and budgeting
- Analyze financial data to develop forecasts and key performance metrics
- Optimize financial processes related to operating expense management
- Develop strong relationships with partners to increase performance visibility
- Provide financial support for senior leadership and high-level meetings
- Identify and implement AI-driven tools to enhance financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 3-5 years of financial experience focusing on operating expense management
- Strong financial modeling and storytelling skills
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial statements
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets
- Experience with financial planning systems such as Planful or similar
- Experience leveraging AI tools for FP&A functions
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with SQL-based systems, NetSuite, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, Vena, Hyperion, SAP, Looker
- Experience with AI-driven tools, large language models, automation platforms, and financial analytics tools
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $100,000 – $120,000
