Overview

A healthcare technology organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join their finance team. This role involves providing analytical support and financial insights to senior leaders across technology, product, and general & administrative (G&A) teams. The position focuses on financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and supporting strategic business decisions as the company scales.

Responsibilities

  • Support the annual budgeting process, including preparing materials and narratives for Board meetings
  • Update and maintain the company’s long-range financial forecast model, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure assumptions are accurate and current
  • Act as a key business partner for R&D and G&A functions, supporting planning, forecasting, and analysis activities
  • Become the subject matter expert in the planning tool Adaptive Planning and improve FP&A team processes and systems
  • Evaluate return on investment for capital requests and product development initiatives
  • Analyze cohort data and operational metrics to support organizational excellence
  • Provide analytical and decision support on key company decisions such as partnerships, customer contracts, and M&A activities
  • Support financial modeling and evaluation for prospective mergers and acquisitions
  • Manage high-impact projects involving uncertainty, data limitations, and multiple stakeholders

Requirements

  • 4 to 7+ years of relevant analytical and management experience in Tech/SaaS Product Finance, FP&A, or technology investing (VC/PE/fund) with a service-oriented mindset
  • Experience supporting subscription/SaaS business models and familiarity with related metrics preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline; MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus
  • Prior experience with NetSuite, Salesforce.com, or Adaptive Planning is advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to generate insights and recommendations
  • Team player with high emotional intelligence, ownership mentality, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting to executive-level audiences
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Interest in technology and AI
