Overview
This role is part of the Finance team supporting a leading cloud infrastructure business. The team manages profit and loss statements, drives financial planning and modeling, and partners with leadership to optimize business economics while supporting rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning for business units.
- Analyze actual financial results, metrics, trends, and forecasts, comparing against prior periods and budgets to inform decisions.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across Finance and Business teams to deliver consistent, high-quality, and timely results.
- Lead initiatives to improve financial processes, accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with accounting guidelines.
- Develop ad hoc financial models and identify efficiency opportunities, especially related to data center operations.
- Leverage broader financial community resources to gather information, resolve business issues, and support cross-functional projects.
- Prepare financial presentations for business stakeholders and manage quarterly reporting schedules.
- Participate in quarter-end close processes in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of cloud technology and infrastructure or experience supporting engineering teams is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,600 - $141,200 per year (USD), with eligibility for bonus and equity.
