Overview
A fast-growing technology organization is seeking a hands-on, analytical Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in financial planning, performance analysis, and business intelligence. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, providing meaningful impact and room for growth within a modern, high-performing Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align go-to-market (GTM) strategies with financial goals.
- Partner closely with Revenue Operations teams on capacity planning.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis, translating budget-to-actual differences into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models for GTM initiatives, aligning with revenue and operational goals.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports highlighting key variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Evaluate the return on investment of GTM initiatives and provide recommendations for optimizing spend and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to streamline reporting and improve efficiency.
- Conduct ad-hoc strategic analysis and build models to support key initiatives across GTM teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business analysis.
- Experience in high-growth, SaaS, or technology environments, investment banking, or financial consulting is an asset.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; comfortable influencing cross-functional teams.
- Experience with financial systems and tools such as Excel, Google Workspace, Pigment, or similar.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious and forward-thinking, with a strong desire to make a measurable impact on the business.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $111,400 – $131,000 plus equity, depending on experience and qualifications.
