Overview
This full-time Senior Financial Data Analyst role involves independently planning, leading, and executing advanced analytics projects that impact revenue growth, operational efficiency, and client experience. The position requires close collaboration with executives, directors, and key stakeholders to provide data-driven guidance for sales enablement and operational initiatives. The analyst will perform enhanced reporting and deep data analysis, identify trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize sales productivity and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytics projects influencing executive decisions, such as optimizing territory assignments and identifying churn risk for high-value accounts.
- Partner with senior leadership to define KPIs and reporting frameworks aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Regularly report to leadership on current and pending reporting requests, present analysis results, and discuss productivity improvement opportunities.
- Identify business opportunities, evaluate data, model scenarios, and communicate insightful analytical results to leadership.
- Develop predictive models and financial forecasts using SQL, Python/R, and BI platforms to support strategic planning and scenario analysis.
- Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques for trend analysis and revenue forecasting.
- Design and implement automated reporting systems and dashboards using Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
- Ensure scalability and accuracy of data pipelines to support enterprise-level analytics.
- Lead cross-functional analytics projects from concept to deployment using Agile methodologies, ensuring measurable ROI.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors, providing input on technology roadmaps and adoption strategies.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance data integrity and streamline workflows.
- Drive adoption of new tools and processes through stakeholder engagement and training.
- Provide technical guidance to junior analysts, establish data governance standards, and promote analytics excellence across the organization.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or sales operations within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Expertise in SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel modeling.
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems and strong relational database skills (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) preferred.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, operational metrics, and financial modeling.
- Proven ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and deliver insights that drive strategic outcomes.
- PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods (typically 7-8 hours a day).
- Proficiency in operating computer and phone systems, including using multiple software programs simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $65,300 - $105,000 per year, with base pay varying based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
