Overview
A growing organization is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst based in the United States to enhance company-wide planning, forecasting, and performance insights in an AI-accelerated marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting by collaborating with department leaders to create ambitious, realistic, and measurable budgets.
- Manage budget-to-actual variance analysis, providing clear commentary and actionable insights for leadership.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance drivers and identify shifts promptly.
- Develop and refine financial models connecting financial statements and cash flow to support decision-making throughout the year.
- Prepare accurate, insightful, and concise monthly financial results packages suitable for board-level reporting.
- Improve the monthly close and review process by enhancing completeness, accuracy, and leadership-ready outputs, including hands-on support during close cycles.
- Drive reforecasting efforts to enable early business adjustments, wise investments, and alignment with changing conditions.
- Assist in modernizing FP&A through the rollout of planning tools and scalable processes to support growth.
- Support scaling initiatives such as new business units, geographic expansion, and acquisition modeling, ensuring smooth integration into the overall financial narrative.
Requirements
- Significant experience in progressive accounting or finance roles with strong business partnership skills.
- Proven expertise in financial statement modeling under GAAP and direct cash flow forecasting.
- Advanced Excel skills, capable of building robust, reliable financial models.
- Ability to operate effectively across both strategic and executional levels, balancing detailed work with leadership communication.
- Experience working with data ecosystems, including relational databases and reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Pigment) and Power Query environments is a plus.
- Exposure to technology and software-as-a-service (SaaS) business models, especially in growth-stage companies, is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, audience-appropriate insights.

Compensation & Benefits
- Target base salary range: $94,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience.
