Overview
A growing technology company is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead core planning, forecasting, and performance tracking functions. This role involves building and owning financial models and reporting systems that drive strategic decisions and support scaling efforts. The position is fully remote within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting infrastructure to support company planning and decision-making
- Analyze unit economics, cohort trends, and other data to guide investment and growth decisions
- Automate manual reporting processes using AI and modern tools, creating self-serve dashboards and independent systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic planning and resource allocation, translating complex data into clear narratives for leadership
- Improve forecast accuracy and drive margin and efficiency improvements through enhanced visibility into performance drivers
- Partner with teams across the organization to implement insights and improve business economics beyond analysis
Who You’ll Work With
- Core finance and operations teams on forecasting, reporting, and business systems
- Business stakeholders company-wide on headcount and resource planning
- Executive leadership on strategic initiatives informed by your analysis
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or similar roles; experience in a high-growth startup is a plus
- Proven experience using AI to automate workflows, accelerate analysis, or build tools
- Strong financial modeling skills to improve forecast accuracy, streamline reporting, and support scenario planning
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, QuickBooks or similar ERP systems, and AI tools such as Claude Code; familiarity with SQL or Sigma is advantageous
- Ability to partner cross-functionally to translate plans into actionable outcomes
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- Enthusiasm for building scalable processes, enabling self-serve reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $120,000 – $140,000 USD (approximately $168,000 - $196,000 CAD)
