Overview
This role is for a Senior FP&A Analyst responsible for owning the core planning, forecasting, and performance tracking functions across the organization. The position involves treating the financial infrastructure like a product—constantly rebuilding and automating it rather than maintaining manual processes. The analyst will build and own financial models and reporting systems that drive decision-making, leveraging AI and modern tools to automate reporting and focus on strategic analysis that shapes growth and investment.
This is a 100% remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models and forecasting infrastructure to support planning and decision-making as the company scales
- Drive investment and growth decisions through detailed analyses based on unit economics, cohort trends, and other key metrics
- Automate manual reporting processes using AI and modern tooling, creating self-serve dashboards and independent systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic planning and resource allocation, translating complex data into clear narratives for leadership
- Improve forecast accuracy and enhance margin and efficiency through better visibility into performance drivers
- Partner with teams across the company to implement insights and drive real improvements in business economics
Who You’ll Work With
- Core finance and operations teams on forecasting, reporting, and business systems
- Business stakeholders company-wide on headcount and resource planning, ensuring data-driven decisions
- Executive leadership on strategic initiatives, providing analysis that directly informs decision-making
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or similar roles; experience in a high-growth startup is a plus
- Proven experience using AI to automate workflows, accelerate analysis, or build tools
- Strong financial modeling skills that enhance forecast accuracy, streamline reporting, and support dynamic scenario planning
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, QuickBooks or similar ERP systems, and AI tools such as Claude Code; familiarity with SQL or Sigma is advantageous
- Ability to partner cross-functionally to translate plans into actionable outcomes
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Enthusiasm for building scalable processes, enabling self-serve reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base salary range: $120,000 – $140,000 USD / $168,000 - $196,000 CAD
