Overview
A global organization in the Data Center Services industry is seeking a leader to define and execute the strategic vision for their Accounts Payable (AP) function. This role involves managing a global team responsible for end-to-end AP processes, optimizing workflows, and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure compliance and timely payments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a global Accounts Payable team overseeing invoice processing and payment approvals
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for the AP function aligned with organizational goals
- Optimize AP workflows and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely payments and adherence to corporate policies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in AP processes and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Over 10 years of experience managing accounts payable operations in complex or global organizations
- At least 5 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams
- Hands-on experience with AP systems, ERP platforms, and process automation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance frameworks relevant to Accounts Payable
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accounting certifications such as CPA, CA, CIMA, CMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent
- Experience establishing and maintaining internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Exposure to finance transformation or operational efficiency projects
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up to $225,900
