  • Own the financial forecast methodology, process, and outputs.
  • Lead driver-based models for key financial metrics, including merchant GMV, attach rates, revenue, cash balances, and margin across product lines.

  • Own the annual operating plan and long-range plan, including:
    • Lead the annual budgeting cycle
    • Build and manage the 3–5 year financial model
    • Link growth ambitions to cash and capital needs

  • Evaluate strategic initiatives and capital allocation by building ROI and scenario/sensitivity models for new products, markets, merchant partnerships, and major investments.
  • Support fundraising, insurer/reinsurance partner economics, and M&A/corporate-development analysis as needed.
  • Drive resource and headcount planning by partnering with People and department leaders on workforce and capacity plans and tracking budget-vs-actual on major initiatives to flag reallocation needs.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Represent Finance in key forums, align teams on shared assumptions and priorities, and translate financial insights into action.
  • Raise the technical and operational standard for the team by promoting AI-native ways of working that improve output, speed, and quality.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development.
  • Track record owning forecasting methodology or financial strategy, including driver-based financial modeling, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and unit economics.

  • Proven ability to synthesize complex analysis into board- and executive-level materials.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring senior analysts and raising a team’s technical bar.
