Overview

A defense sector organization is seeking a Senior Program Financial Analyst to support a high-visibility production program within the Indirect Fires and Force Protection business area. This role involves managing and analyzing program financials, supporting production and delivery milestones, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations to meet cost, schedule, and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports and forecasts.
  • Conduct presentations and discussions of Estimates at Completion (EAC) with program managers and integrated product team leads.
  • Prepare staffing presentations for the portfolio.
  • Assist program managers and IPT leads in quantifying programmatic risks and opportunities impacting financials, recommending cost reductions and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Explain variances against the latest EAC.
  • Support the Financial & Business Operations (F&BO) Manager with financial forecasting, monthly CTTP estimates, quarterly forecasting, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Assist with month-end closings, variance and trend analyses.
  • Support cash management, inventory analysis, and timely submission of invoices, collections, and unbilled reductions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of program finance experience.
  • Experience in defense contracting with knowledge of multiple contract types including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Plus, and hybrid contracts.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain security clearance as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with financial systems and applications such as Cost Point, Hyperion, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Cognos, Fusion, LPAS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $92,300.00 - $166,850.00 annually.
  • Compensation is based on job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable agreements.
