Overview
A leading organization in the Media sector is seeking a Senior Strategic Finance Analyst to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that support business decisions. This role involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation, influencing enterprise performance and scalable financial operations.
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation: $100,000 – $115,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support planning and strategic decision-making
- Own and maintain the financial planning infrastructure using Pigment
- Act as the finance partner for company-wide expense management
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports for executive leadership
- Automate KPI reporting to improve visibility and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define metrics and evaluate business initiatives
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support growth and efficiency projects
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), strategic finance, or related roles
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Practical experience with financial planning platforms such as Pigment or similar tools
- Solid understanding of SaaS and go-to-market (GTM) metrics including ARR and churn
- Ability to communicate complex financial analyses clearly to diverse audiences
- Experience working with operational data sources like Salesforce or Looker; familiarity with SQL is a plus
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Equals, NetSuite
- Proficiency in financial modeling and business intelligence (BI) tools
- Knowledge of data visualization and automation technologies
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation technologies
