Sr Financial Analyst

Overview

This role involves supporting the Orlando site under the direction of the Finance Manager. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for management reporting, financial analysis, operating and capital budgets, and addressing accounting issues. The position provides fiscal monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators to Hospital and Clinic Administrators as well as Department Directors and Managers.

Responsibilities

• Issue monthly management reports to Administrators, Department Directors, and Managers
• Collaborate with department management on budget development, including training, coordination, and review
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial data to support hospital and practice decision-making
• Develop monthly variance reports and investigate reasons for variances
• Work with management to prepare quarterly budget updates based on current volume levels
• Educate and assist Managers and Administrators in understanding financial reports
• Prepare special reports and projects as assigned by the Hospital/Practice Director or Administrator
• Maintain effective working relationships with others
• Ensure regular attendance and demonstrate good communication skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of five years of experience in financial analysis and budget preparation
• Healthcare experience preferred
