Sr Financial Analyst, Operations

Overview

A rapidly growing package delivery company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support transportation operations across more than 100 sites. This role involves building financial models, driving operational decisions, and contributing to cost-saving initiatives within the transportation network.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial analysis models to support operational decisions, including cost reduction initiatives, long-range planning, and annual budgeting.
• Automate existing financial models and tools to support scaling of the transportation network.
• Plan and manage operations and cost planning for the network.
• Perform weekly and monthly variance analysis and reporting.
• Evaluate and improve core business model methodologies and tools.
• Collaborate with operations teams to drive process improvements, productivity enhancements, and cost savings.
• Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial results reporting.
• Facilitate financial review meetings with key business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related field.
• Strong financial and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, SQL, Power BI, and large data analysis.
• Occasional travel as needed.
