Overview

A Senior Financial Analyst role is available within the Finance group to provide financial and operational support for the Work and ELT teams. This position involves forecasting, variance analysis, maintaining key financial metrics, and supporting strategic initiatives. The role offers significant exposure to business leaders and the opportunity to influence decisions through insightful analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Own core FP&A processes including monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
  • Partner with product and business unit leaders to analyze product performance, profitability, and customer adoption trends
  • Translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership
  • Develop a deep understanding of business drivers and proactively identify risks and opportunities
  • Perform detailed variance analysis, identifying root causes and communicating key performance drivers
  • Support strategic decision-making through ad hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and business case development
  • Improve and automate reporting processes using modern tools such as BI platforms, data models, and AI-assisted workflows
  • Act as a liaison between the Business Unit, FP&A, and Accounting to ensure alignment and consistency
  • Assist in preparation of internal and external reporting materials
  • Support product setup, financial tracking, and analysis of new initiatives
  • Investigate data discrepancies and drive resolution with cross-functional partners

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a quantitative field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a related analytical role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into insights and recommendations
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience handling large datasets and building financial models
  • Experience with or strong interest in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion)
  • Demonstrated curiosity and interest in leveraging technology, automation, and AI to improve financial processes
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills to present complex information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Growth mindset: proactive, coachable, and motivated to take on increasing responsibility

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $67,000.00 - $87,100.00 USD
  • Individual compensation will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location
