Overview

This Financial Analyst role involves leading the analysis, reporting, and forecasting of operating and support function expenses. The position requires collaboration with business units to enhance financial awareness, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve overall profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze headcount-related expenses focusing on volume, rate, and mix drivers.
  • Lead analysis, reporting, and resolution of departmental variances against budget and forecast.
  • Analyze key vendor expenditures and identify potential savings.
  • Lead reporting, analysis, and forecasting for selected organizational expenses.
  • Monitor and report on capital expenditures, assisting with ROI analysis as needed.
  • Produce monthly performance reports for operational teams and communicate results to senior leadership.
  • Serve as an integral member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, reporting directly to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Corporate Finance with demonstrated skills in modeling, forecasting, and executive communication.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with capital budgeting and project finance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, and/or CFA are highly desirable.
  • Previous FP&A experience within mortgage subservicing or servicing industries.
  • Experience or transferable skills using digital tools such as Power BI and SQL, with the ability to analyze large datasets effectively.

  • Salary range: $64,800 - $121,500 annually, with actual compensation dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Location & Work Environment
