Staff Accountant [210106]

Overview

This role supports the core financial operations of a leading global technology organization known for innovation and impactful contributions across industries. The position is part of the Corporate Accounting team and focuses on maintaining accuracy and efficiency in financial processes, supporting monthly accounting close cycles, and ensuring robust data governance. It offers a combination of operational accounting and systems enablement responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support intercompany accounting activities, ensuring compliance with established procedures and contributing to the monthly accounting close.
• Manage processes for booking accounting entries, including foreign exchange and intercompany transactions.
• Maintain and refresh financial reporting tools to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Assist with close-related tasks to enhance the efficiency and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for accounting and finance system implementations to verify that new systems meet business requirements.
• Support general ledger maintenance and data governance initiatives to uphold financial data integrity.
• Collaborate with the General Ledger Maintenance team to ensure smooth operations outside of the close period.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong fundamentals in accounting.
• Ability to work across both operational accounting and systems enablement functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in finance systems, testing, and process improvement.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
