Overview

A growing team is seeking a Steuerfachangestellten, Steuerfachwirt, or Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) with a focus on start-ups, scale-ups, and venture capital companies. The position is available at the Berlin location or remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing financial accounting for a diverse client base, primarily growth-oriented start-ups, scale-ups, and internationally active companies
• Prepare and create monthly and annual financial statements
• Prepare business tax returns
• Support business evaluations and reporting
• Serve as a contact person for clients regarding tax, accounting, and business management questions

Requirements

• Completed training or further education as Steuerfachangestellter, Steuerfachwirt, or Bilanzbuchhalter
• Experience in tax consulting for clients and interest in supporting growth-oriented start-ups, scale-ups, and VC-funded companies
• Good knowledge of DATEV and MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Proficient German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Independent, careful, and team-oriented working style with open communication and friendly interaction with clients and colleagues
• Interest in digital accounting processes, new technologies, and the use of AI in finance and accounting
