Overview

This role involves leading the financial modelling and analytics capability within the strategic finance function of a leading health technology organization. The Strategic Finance Analytics Manager will develop models, tools, and decision support systems that enable leadership to drive profitability, optimize commercial strategy, and allocate resources effectively. The position is highly visible to executive leadership, the Board, and investors, and focuses initially on Pricing & Monetization Analytics with a broader mandate to build scalable analytical frameworks across strategic finance domains. A key aspect of the role is the hands-on application of AI and machine learning to modernize and accelerate modelling, scenario generation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain in-house financial and profitability models to evaluate revenue and margin implications of strategic decisions, starting with pricing and commercial strategy and expanding to other areas.
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses on packaging, pricing changes, go-to-market strategies, and investment trade-offs, measured against Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and contribution margin.
  • Apply AI/ML tools, including large language models (LLMs) and predictive modelling, to accelerate modelling, scenario generation, and reporting.
  • Develop scalable, self-serve analytics tools that provide consistent, decision-ready intelligence to Finance, Pricing, Sales Operations, and business unit leaders.
  • Evaluate pricing changes through quantitative modelling of customer, revenue, and margin impact across segments and geographies.
  • Track pricing and monetization KPIs such as discount compliance, revenue realization, and contribution margin against targets.
  • Quantify the financial impact of commercial governance decisions including pricing policies, discount frameworks, and packaging structures.
  • Deliver regular profitability and commercial performance reporting to executive leadership and go-to-market teams.
  • Develop measurement frameworks to track strategic initiative effectiveness, monetization outcomes, and contribution margin across products, segments, and geographies.
  • Partner with FP&A and Sales Operations to integrate pricing and profitability analytics into forecasting and planning.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Assurance and Finance Operations to address pricing-related revenue risks.
  • Serve as the primary analytical partner to Pricing, Sales Enablement, and business unit leaders on profitability decisions.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations and present findings to senior leadership and Board/investor audiences.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or quantitative/strategic finance within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Exceptional financial modelling and scenario analysis skills with a proven track record of building revenue, profitability, or pricing models and translating them into decision support.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI/ML tools, including LLMs and predictive modelling, to accelerate and modernize modelling and reporting workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pricing or monetization analytics.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools, preferably Power BI, and executive-grade data visualization.
  • Exposure to Salesforce (SFDC), including Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA).

Location & Travel Expectations

  • For remote roles: occasional travel to office locations in Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City for onboarding, team events, and semi-annual or annual meetings.
  • For hybrid roles: must reside within commutable distance to the specified office location with regular in-office attendance for team events.
