Overview

This role involves leading Strategic Finance for GTM (Go-To-Market), shaping the organization’s financial trajectory through rigorous planning, analysis, and reporting with a primary focus on supporting GTM strategy and execution. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance, you will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to deliver insights that enable efficient and strategic growth.

You will lead core FP&A rhythms—including forecasting, reporting, and long-range planning—while building dynamic financial models and creating clear financial narratives for executives, the board, and investors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting rhythms, with deep ownership of GTM forecasts (bookings, ARR, pipeline, and headcount), in partnership with the Head of Strategic Finance
  • Own budget-vs-actuals updates for GTM functions, identifying variances across sales capacity, marketing spend, and customer acquisition metrics
  • Develop board-ready materials and financial narratives covering growth performance, efficiency, and ROI for executive reviews and company all-hands meetings
  • Support comprehensive top-down and bottom-up financial planning for 2026 and beyond, including sales capacity modeling, quota planning, and growth scenarios
  • Build models and templates to inform GTM investment decisions (including hiring, target setting, and marketing mix)
  • Drive strategic projects, including pricing and packaging, sales compensation economics, vendor optimization, and ROI analysis
  • Support investor reporting and fundraising by articulating GTM strategy, unit economics, and a path to efficient scale, with a path toward increasing ownership and responsibility

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience across investment banking, investing, consulting, or finance at a high-growth tech company
  • Experience supporting revenue-driving or customer-facing teams (Sales, Marketing, RevOps, or CS) strongly preferred
  • Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills
  • Strong writing and presentation skills (clarity and polish)
  • Experience with planning cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Ability to work independently and proactively drive outcomes
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration preferred; MBA a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GTM financial planning and scenario modeling
  • Experience developing investor- or board-ready materials and narratives
