This role sits within the Strategic Operations team and reports directly to the Director of Strategic Operations. As a trusted partner to the Risk Adjustment COO and broader leadership team, you will serve as the analytical and technical engine for turning complex operational data into insights, models, and tools that shape how the business runs.

The position emphasizes analytics and tool building (dashboards, lightweight automation, and AI workflows), with flexibility to take on strategic projects and program work as team priorities evolve. The role includes significant visibility with senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Analytics & Insights

  • Build and maintain operational and financial models, including capacity, throughput, staffing, and scenario planning, to inform business strategy and evaluate new initiatives.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-ready materials.

Tools, Automation & AI

  • Identify manual, repetitive processes and recommend/build the best-fit solution, such as Google Apps Script, AI workflows, or other tools.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, lightweight programs, and AI workflows to provide leadership and teams timely visibility into performance and save time.
  • Stay current on new tools and AI capabilities and help the team adopt better ways of working.

Strategic Projects & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Contribute to strategic and operational initiatives end to end, from structuring the problem and gathering data to developing recommendations.
  • Partner with operations, finance, and other teams to ensure analytics are trusted, used, and drive decisions.
  • Support program management and strategy work as business needs evolve.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in management consulting, finance, strategic planning, business analytics, or an operational analyst role; ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced setting.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills; able to build accurate, scalable models from scratch.
  • Hands-on experience building tools with Google Apps Script, AI-assisted coding, or similar; able to assess options and recommend the best-fit solution.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to structure ambiguous problems, work with complex datasets, and extract actionable insights.
  • High standard for accuracy and rigor, with the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to turn data into clear, compelling stories for senior leadership in Google Slides.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with senior leaders and colleagues at all levels; demonstrated professionalism and emotional intelligence.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership, brings ideas forward, and is eager to learn and grow through feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in risk adjustment coding apps and technology.
  • Passion for and understanding of the healthcare technology industry.
