Overview
A leading accounting and consulting firm is seeking a Tax Manager to support their Not-For-Profit industry practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide tax compliance and consulting services related to tax-exempt organizations. Candidates with varying levels of experience may also be considered for a Tax Senior position depending on fit. The position allows for growth potential without relocation and can be based near one of the firm's offices or performed remotely.
Responsibilities
- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to clients focused on protecting their tax-exempt status
- Prepare and/or review tax returns for exempt organizations and their taxable affiliates (Forms 990/1120)
- Utilize project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Lead and develop Tax Staff and Seniors in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Deliver superior client service
- Consult with market and firm leaders
- Network within the community and relevant client industries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s degree preferred
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role
- Experience working with tax-exempt organizations
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,060 - $162,100, determined by role, experience, education, skills, and location
