Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, focusing on S Corporations and Partnerships.
- Review and prepare tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services, advising clients on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and support.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate updates to clients and team members.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation highly preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on tax returns for S Corporations, Partnerships, and LLCs.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 per year.
