Overview

A well-established tax advisory firm based in central New Hampshire is seeking a Tax Manager specializing in S-Corporation taxation. The firm has nearly 100 employees and over 30 years of experience in the industry. This is a remote position focused on managing tax compliance and planning for S-Corps.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for S-Corporations.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
  • Review and prepare complex tax returns ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Conduct tax research and provide advisory services on various tax matters.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather documentation and provide guidance on tax-related issues.
  • Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, offering training and support.
  • Stay current on tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management with a focus on S-Corporations.
  • Proficiency in tax software, especially CCH Axcess Tax and SurePrep.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance for S-Corps and partnerships.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction.
  • Experience with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and automotive industry taxation is a plus.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
