Overview

This role helps define, design, and prove the business value of AI and agentic investment across strategic customer engagements. You will own the end-to-end Value Realization Framework—identifying where AI investment aligns with customers’ strategic objectives, building value hypotheses and investment cases to unlock funding, declaring a measurement approach before building, and proving realized outcomes against baselines once solutions are live.

The work spans finance, business strategy, engineering, and field delivery, partnering directly with CFOs, executive sponsors, account teams, Industry Business Architects, and delivery pods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead value discovery through the Value Realization Framework, including facilitated (often CFO-led) workshops that identify where AI and agent investment aligns with customers’ strategic business objectives.
  • Build and own value hypotheses for each candidate use case, framed as a single testable statement.
  • Develop business cases that unlock funding, including ROI, time-to-break-even, sensitivity analysis, and an explicit cost of inaction.
  • Design the Measurement Spine by decomposing sponsor Impact KPIs into Value Driver KPIs, and defining Adoption Diagnostics (Reach and Depth) to explain why results moved.
  • Own the P&L of every Frontier Loop, accounting for human labor, agents, tokens, licenses, and value leakage, and reporting where projected value is or is not being realized.
  • Develop reusable value patterns, rubrics, benchmarks, and playbooks that scale value creation and management across industries and regions, and transfer the practice to the customer’s own finance and value owners.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)

OR

OR

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience building business cases, ROI and financial models, and value hypotheses that have secured investment or funding decisions.
  • Experience defining KPIs and success metrics and measuring realized business outcomes against baselines.
  • Experience working directly with business and finance stakeholders (including CFO or executive sponsors) to scope ambiguous problems and quantify business value.
  • Deep analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and AI concepts into clear business value, financial terms, and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI (or comparable BI/dashboarding platforms).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across finance, strategy, engineering, product, and delivery teams.
  • Problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience with value realization, value engineering, or business value frameworks in an enterprise consulting or technology environment.
  • Familiarity with AI, agentic AI, and Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Viva Insights (Copilot Dashboard), Azure AI Foundry, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Understanding of digital-labor economics, including the cost structure of agents, tokens, and licenses, and how to account for value leakage.
  • Experience shaping SOWs, effort estimates, and success criteria, and defining value governance for large transformation programs.
  • Ability to work with executive sponsors, finance leaders, business owners, and delivery teams, and to transfer value practices to a customer’s own people.
