Overview
This role is for a Workday Certified Financial Consultant with a focus on the Workday Financials Accounting Center. Responsibilities include contributing to the successful implementation of Workday solutions as part of deployment teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in the Workday Financials product suite, with an emphasis on Accounting Center.
- Lead, as part of a deployment team (or assist others), in activities such as:
- Gathering and documenting client business requirements
- Designing and configuring the Workday Strategic Sourcing solution
- Demonstrating configurations through prototype systems
- Supporting testing of the Workday solution
- Completing knowledge transfer to clients
- Support deployment of Workday Accounting Center Integrations and/or Connectors.
- Work with the client/data conversion team to securely convert legacy data into Workday.
- Facilitate clients’ intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices.
Requirements
- Hold current Workday Financials Certification in Accounting Center.
- 4+ years implementing Workday Accounting Center.
- Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company.
- Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP or similar applications.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
- Experience deploying multiple Financial projects simultaneously (a plus).
- Expected travel is negotiable.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Range: $81,000-$122,000
Paid time off and leave (full-time, regular employees):
- Minimum of 10 days paid vacation per year
- 6 days paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year)
- 10 paid holidays
- Eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty
