Accountant

Overview

This role is a volunteer position with potential eligibility for a stipend. The organization is seeking a compassionate pro-bono accountant to support its mission of empowering worldwide communities that care for individuals with disabilities through rehab-focused training programs.

Responsibilities

This is a volunteer position, consisting of:

• Account reconciliation for one checking account and one savings account quarterly
• IRS Form 990 tax submission
• Payroll and related taxes for two part-time employees
• Monthly bookkeeping for seven accounts involving around 1,400 transactions per year
• General compliance consultation
• Account auditing (not a requirement)

Requirements (Required)

• Must be based in the USA
• Demonstrate high-levels of fiduciary responsibility
• Proficiency in Quickbooks

Compensation & Benefits

• Volunteer role; successful applicant may be eligible for a stipend.
