Accountant

Overview

This role is with an organization in the financial services sector that supports agricultural and infrastructure development. The team focuses on managing financial risk and credit losses associated with lending portfolios, providing accurate financial results and risk management insights to support sustainable growth and impactful infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate financial results related to credit losses by collaborating with finance, risk, and reporting teams
• Lead execution and provide business counseling for Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) processes and outcomes
• Prepare documentation to support internal controls, audits, and regulatory reporting
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with monthly and quarterly close processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance controls, documentation, and efficiency

Requirements

• Knowledge of US GAAP requirements
• Experience with internal controls
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Experience with automation and data visualization tools preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent related experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $77,628.00 - $116,436.00 plus benefits
