Accountant (Remote)

Overview

• Remote: Fully remote
• Role: ACCOUNTANT

This role manages full-cycle accounting activities that support the production of accurate financial statements. Responsibilities include ensuring financial data integrity and timely reporting, partnering with operational departments for appropriate revenue recognition, and identifying process improvements. You will collaborate with multiple teams to support organization-wide financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, financial results analysis, and financial reporting narratives
• Partner with operational departments to ensure effective contract processing and revenue recognition
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts within assigned responsibilities
• Collaborate with accounting and other departments to implement changes and complete special projects
• Identify opportunities for process automation, consolidation, or reengineering

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, including general ledger accounting in a large multi-site corporate environment
• High proficiency in Excel
• Analytical, self-motivated team player
• Availability for occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• CPA certification
• Experience in timeshare, real estate development, property management, or hospitality accounting
• Public accounting experience
• Familiarity with Oracle accounting software

• Hourly pay range: $35 to $40.85 per hour
