Accounting Analyst

Overview

This role supports the Finance team as an Accounting Analyst. Responsibilities include accounting operations such as invoice and expense registration, monthly reporting, accounting provisions, reconciliations, and participation in the monthly closing process. The position also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting tax documentation, and helping improve accounting and administrative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Record and process purchase invoices and expense documentation
• Track, organize, and maintain supporting accounting documentation
• Prepare monthly accounting provisions and accruals
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare monthly expense reports and analyze spending variances
• Monitor and follow up on pending invoices and supporting documents
• Support the monthly accounting close process
• Assist with tax controls and provide documentation required by external accountants
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting and financial records
• Coordinate and track tasks using collaboration tools (e.g., Slack and ClickUp)
• Support continuous improvements in accounting and administrative processes

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles
• Hands-on experience processing purchase invoices and expense records
• Experience preparing accounting accruals and provisions
• Experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Understanding of the monthly closing process
• Knowledge of and experience with tax concepts and regulatory compliance (VAT, withholdings, tax documentation, etc.)
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Ability to communicate in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in startups or technology companies
• Experience using ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP Business One, Tango, Bejerman, Xubio, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack, ClickUp, Asana, or Jira
