The organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Financial Reporting Analyst to support internal and external reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and general accounting operations. This role is suited for an early-career accounting or finance professional with 1–3 years of experience who wants hands-on exposure to a scaling finance function, NetSuite-based close processes, reporting automation, audit support, and future public-company readiness.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly and quarterly close and reporting processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, rollforwards, schedules, and variance explanations.
- Prepare and maintain GAAP-based reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, revenue and commission-related accounts, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other areas as assigned.
- Assist with internal reporting packages, KPI reporting, financial statement support schedules, executive reporting, and recurring financial and operational reporting deliverables.
- Support external reporting needs, including audit schedules and reporting support for lenders, investors, boards, and other stakeholders, including tie-outs of financial data to source systems and reporting packages.
- Support future SEC and public-company readiness efforts by preparing tie-out support, data validation, PBC schedules, and disclosure support, as applicable.
- Assist with reconciliations between operational systems (including Connect or similar systems) and accounting/reporting systems (including NetSuite, close management tools, BI tools, and spreadsheet models).
- Maintain reporting templates, data checks, process documentation, close calendars, and audit-ready support to improve accuracy, repeatability, and completeness.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Technology, and other teams to research variances, resolve reporting questions, and improve data consistency across systems.
- Identify manual processes, spreadsheet-heavy workflows, and recurring reporting pain points; recommend improvements, automation opportunities, or stronger controls.
- Provide generalist accounting support as needed, including AP-adjacent activities, expense review, cash activity support, system testing, special projects, and ad hoc analyses.

- Understanding of basic GAAP, month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to trace data from source systems to reported outputs.
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear support for accounting, reporting, and audit purposes.
- Self-starter who can work independently, proactively surface issues or risks, and follow through on open items.
- High degree of professionalism, ownership, integrity, and commitment to accuracy and completeness.
Preferred Qualifications
