Overview
An organization is seeking experienced accounting instructors to assist in evaluating and improving AI systems trained on accounting principles and financial reporting. This role involves shaping how AI understands and communicates complex financial concepts, directly impacting the quality and reliability of next-generation AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Review accounting questions, explanations, and scenarios used in AI training datasets
- Assess the accuracy of financial concepts including financial statements, bookkeeping, internal controls, and managerial accounting
- Identify errors, edge cases, and misleading or incomplete explanations
- Provide clear, structured feedback to improve the precision and pedagogical quality of AI-generated content
- Work independently on a flexible schedule to meet project milestones
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years teaching accounting at the postsecondary level
- Strong command of both financial and managerial accounting principles
- Skilled at evaluating written quantitative and rule-based reasoning
- Comfortable reviewing structured content systematically and at scale
- Detail-oriented with the ability to communicate feedback clearly and concisely
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation or Master's degree in Accounting
- Hands-on experience with audits, financial analysis, or applied accounting practice
- Familiarity with AI systems, model evaluation, or instructional design workflows
